An Un-Calibrated Centrifuge

Brendan Buckley's Universe and Everything in It

Brendan Buckley's Universe and Everything in It - Sundee T. Frazier

I picked this book up from the library on a whim and I ended up really enjoying it.

It's a good story about biracial identity. Frazier really likes metaphors. I like the comparisons Frazier comes up with, but I found it too heavy-handed at the end. I also didn't like the thunder egg story about the American Indians. American Indians aren't monolithic. Which tribe/people does this story come from? Presumably one/some that are from the Pacific Northwest, but the lack of specificity annoyed me.

Other than that, it's an enjoyable book and I can't wait to read the sequel.
