I love how Atinuke tackles big subjects like racism and poverty in a way that feels very accessible, never didactic, always entertaining. Some stories come with a moral and some stories are just fun.
This is probably my favorite of the Anna Hibiscus books so far. But they're all so good, it's really very close. Anna Hibiscus is a great series all around.
