Absolutely Normal Chaos - Sharon Creech

I read and enjoyed this book as a kid. Sharon Creech crams a lot of story into one summer. One bit that bothered me this time was when Mary Lou's mother forbid her from using the words God, stupid and stuff. Because up until this point in the story, she hadn't really overused those words, but the result is funny, so ultimately I was willing to let it go. (It could also just be an example of the fatigue Mary Lou's mother is feeling at having all her children at home all the time instead of in school most of the day. This one thing made her snap.)
