I hated the beginning and the ending, but the middle (surprisingly) didn't suck. I just reread a little bit of the end of Paper Towns, and John Green has this problem of needing to explain everything in his books. This whole thing has been a metaphor! Don't you see? Don't you get the metaphor? (Which seems weird since John Green is always going on about how smart teenagers are... but explaining every little thing makes it seem like he thinks they're dumb and won't get it unless he explains it to them).
