The Meaning of Maggie

The Meaning of Maggie - Megan Jean Sovern

A friend recommended this to me. It took me a while to get into it, but when I did I finished it really quickly. I read a lot of it at work. Luckily not the end though because it made me cry a lot.

I really liked Maggie as a character. She didn’t always feel exactly like an 11/12 year old, but I like that she’s unapologetically weird and that the story just kind of happens. It's not leading you to a moral or huge life lesson. It's a solid realistic fiction middle grade read.
