Ghosts
I was uncertain about this book as I was reading it. I'm not Mexican. I don't celebrate Día de los Muertos. But flags did go up when Halloween and Día de los Muertos seemed to converge in the book.
This review sums up the problems with the book (there's several other reviews out there that all say pretty much the same stuff). I wanted to like Ghosts when I started because look at the representation: biracial families, Latinx characters, kid with CF. But I can't like it when it's bad representation.
