Uncle Elephant

Uncle Elephant - Arnold Lobel

Lobel's books remind me a little of Sendak's but less menacing* overall. There's lots of anxiety in Uncle Elephant, but also lots of reassurance.

*Sendak's books are menacing in the best way.
