Fuzzy Mud
Fuzzy Mud is pretty gross. I had to skip to the ending to reassure myself everything ended in a not too horrible way before I could finish reading it.
I enjoyed Tamaya, though some googling shows that Sachar accidentally created a character I like (his first answer about Tamaya's name is pretty problematic).
Overall it's not Sachar's best book. I thought it got too heavy-handed at the end with the overpopulation stuff. I'll probably never reread this one because of the gross factor.
