The Absolute
This is a fine book. It's well-written. It just didn't do much for me. It's almost all action with a little bit of story bookending it. Luckily the story that is there packs a punch.
Just a couple of notes under the cut
Marco continues to be a bad driver… I love it.
Marco is right, why didn't they acquire a migratory bird sooner? We'll never know.
It should take them a little longer than half a morning that to reach the capitol…
Still unable to morph clothing like Jake and Tobias did in The Resistance.
The governor's mansion in the book sounds a little like CA's historic governor's mansion (but the governor didn't live in the historic governor's mansion in 2000). I like the governor and hope she makes a second appearance before the end of the series.
