This is the best Tobias book so far. There's lots of action. It moves the plot along but not everything is wrapped up neatly. It feels like an early Animorphs book and almost makes up for the last two in the main series. (It's what the Unexpected could have been with a little more work.)
Questions under the cut.
Is this the first time it’s been explained that you can’t acquire DNA from a morph?
Still with the spandex even though could morph clothes two series books ago?
The Animorphs didn’t acquire wolves or a bald eagle from the Gardens either…
Seriously, what happened to them being able to morph clothing?
There was only one blood match? Maybe the Yeerks assumed none of their hosts would be a match so they didn't even bother testing.
