The Lost Summer of Louisa May Alcott

The Lost Summer of Louisa May Alcott - Kelly O'Connor McNees

This book just feels so derivative. I know it's because Little Women was heavily influenced by Alcott's real life and this is a fictional account of Alcott's real life but knowing that doesn't make me enjoy the book any more.

I'm not a huge Alcott fan to begin with. My fondest memory of anything Alcott related is watching Little Women at my grandparents in the summer. Maybe if I were a bigger fan I'd like this book more?
