An Un-Calibrated Centrifuge
In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson
I enjoyed each of the chapters individually but taken as a whole the story leaves something to be desired. I know it's a short book but Bao could have fit more into the pages than she does. I would have traded some of the periphery stories (babysitting the triplets and the bits about the parrot) for more development of the important relationships (mainly Mabel and Shirley's parents).
