Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
I lied yesterday. The first time I read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory it wasn't illustrated by Quentin Blake (the rendition of the Oompa Loompas was way more racist... it seems like the description of the Oompa Loompas might have been edited also but I'm not positive).
This is a story I know pretty well, but again I didn't read the book that much as a kid, I listened to the tape instead. I should see if my library has it on CD.
The book is pretty much what I remember. Better poetry than James and the Giant Peach.
