My dad once said to me, "You give a lot of books three stars." I do.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this book. The writing is very beautiful and each chapter reads like a short story. Many of the chapters were published as short stories before they were brought together into this book. It only shows occasionally. I thought the ending was a strange choice. I wish it had focused more on Yuki and her life. But other than that I enjoyed the book. It was a pleasant surprise.
