Calvin Coconut: The Zippy Fix

Calvin Coconut: The Zippy Fix - Graham Salisbury, Jacqueline Rogers

I enjoyed this book more than the first one. The story was more interesting and seemed to fit a nine-year-old protagonist. I do find it weird that Salisbury never mentions anyone taking off their shoes inside the house (and some of the illustrations even show people wearing shoes inside, but those could be house slippers). Also in HI and CA most people call it soda NOT pop. There was an inconsistency between the two books (Tito brought Stella dried shrimp not dried cuttlefish in the first book) but nothing egregious. All in all, this book was good enough that I'll check out the third.

ETA: This is the book that got me interested in the series. I had seen the books in my library, but didn't know anything about them. I saw the cover of this one and was interested (though I thought the story might be about Zippy's and not a cat...)
